MY WAY - Thanks Sid!!!

Several artists have crossed the line and brought about great changes in music as well as our attitudes. The Beatles, Elvis, Nirvana, and even the Tupac Shakur. However, the one I think caused the most stir and almost single hand brought punk rock close to main stream was Sid Vicious. His talent wasn't great and his singing lacked so much that he wasn't even the lead man in the Sex Pistols. However his character and this take charge attitude came through on the song MY WAY. I have attached the video click for those of you who might have never seen Sid Vicious perform. The star that he build was short lived as so often happens with people are not ready to become this famous. However the testament to his legend lives on as I still see young people wearing SID VICIOUS shirts and listening to the music. I really hate that Sid Vicious was the face of Punk Rock because so many other great bands and artist came out of that genre. Watch the clip and then do some research into other great punk bands. The Sex Pistols were the main band but so many others such as The Dead Kennedys, The Meat Puppets, Generation X, make awesome music. Well enjoy the clip and do some slam dancing if you like.

The Replacements

I think out new theme song should the "Talent Show" by the Replacements. One of our viewers suggested this and maybe it will stick. Well anyway check out the video below thanks to youtube.

Gabba, Gabba, Hey

Just wanted to let anyone out there that loves music, you have to listen to The Ramones. One of the best groups ever and they stood the test of time. I cannot count how many albums they are out and they just kept getting better with age. For you other Ramones fans you have to get a watch the movie "Rock and Roll High School" This gives you some great shots of the band and lets you hear their voices and really shows you how tall they were. Do yourself a treat tonight download some Ramones songs and jam out the rest of the night.

Soon with the Band Champ

It is almost here the band champ will be annoucned soon. Check back and see who is the best of the best.

Amazed I am!

Amazed I am at the amount of talent out there. I am so awe struck by the self taught artists to the ones that have taken years of classes. The bands that have just started up and those that have been together for many years. The amazing beauty of the models no matter if their pictures are professionally done or taken by a friend at home. I must comment you all, you are amazing. Keep it up.

Z Talent Show

Z Talent Show is your basic talent show except that viewers get to pick the winners. Acts will be posted and displayed for one month. During that time viewers will get to compare each catagory and pick their favorite act. At the end of the voting period the strongest or one with the most votes survives and the others are cast to the wayside. The act that survivies will take on a whole new barrage of challengers to see who is Z-Best. Z Talent Show will have 3 classes that will include music, modeling, and comedy. So, don't just sit there. PIick up that guitar and talk to me.

The music portion of Z Talent Show will be open to bands and individiuals that perform all types of music. In the case that we might recieve enough acts we might break this down into sub-catagories by genre. The person sending in the music sample must be the owner of that material. Don't just send in your favorite band without permission. The email for submissions is on the side of this page. So get to jammin and let us hear what you've got.

The modeling portion of Z Talent Show will be based on still pictures and works the same way as the music portion. Fans will vote for their favorite and the favorite of the month moves on. Again based on the amount of participants we have we will determine the number of catagories needed. Due to our agreement with blogspot NO nude pictures will be posted - even if they are in good taste. Boegley Down Productions' staff will have final say on any and all pictures submitted.

The Comedy portion of Z talent Show will consist of short 3 to 5 minute skits based on the artists' talents. Any video sent to us longer then that will either have to be cut down or discarded. Again, as to our agreement with blogspot the acts must be kept clean. No vulger launguage, nudity or violence will make it's way onto the site. As mentioned before, Beogley Down Productions' staff will have final say on what is posted on our site.

Sending in your videos or pictures is considered consent for us to post them. You may pass out the website to your friends, famliy, and fans and they can vote for you once a day if they so desire.
